
BIOGRAPHY

Kelly Beck served as the Director of On-Air Creative for Audience Network on DirecTV and U-verse, part of the AT&T Entertainment Group. From network branding and strategy, award-winning promotional on-air and digital campaigns, branded content, short form interstitials, and larger concept shoots, BTS and show opens, Kelly brings the highest level of creative experience to all facets of promotion, production and marketing.
While at Audience, Kelly is responsible for branding a highly diverse schedule of original scripted series, sports, music shows, movies and documentaries, highlighted by the hit original series Condor, Mr Mercedes, Kingdom, You Me Her, ICE, Off Camera with Sam Jones, Loudermilk, Undeniable with Joe Buck, Guitar Center Sessions, Audience Music, The Fighting Season, and the #1 daily sports shows The Dan Patrick Show and The Rich Eisen Show.
Kelly started his over 25 year career working as a news, promotion and commercial producer/director at local affiliates FOX 47 in Lansing, MI, and KVWB 21 in Las Vegas, NV.

After moving to LA, Kelly worked as a writer/producer/director, creating powerful marketing campaigns for Disney Channel and ABC animated and original series, with up and coming superstars like Britney Spears, The Backstreet Boys, Shia LaBeouf and some guy named Mickey Mouse.
Kelly went on to excel as a writer, producer, director, editor and manager for The WB Television Network, The CW Television Network and Style Network. He has also produced for two of the most dynamic promotional agencies in Hollywood, Studio City Productions and Play Creative TV, creating award winning promotional content for top clients including FX, Lifetime, Warner Bros. Television, CBS Television, Discovery and SYFY.
Originally from the Detroit area and a graduate of Michigan State University, Kelly is a twelve time Global and North American Promax/BDA award winner. Check out some recent award winning campaigns below.

For the premiere of Season 2 of Undeniable, my goal was to further explain and go in-depth into this original show concept, get the host Joe Buck’s POV, and explore how positively the legendary guests and audience responded to the experience.

For the season 3 launch, my goal was to capture those poignant, emotional moments and let the guests speak for themselves and the show. Combined with Sam’s original photography of each guest and graphics that supported the overall approach, simple and clean.

Created for TCA and critics to promote the series premiere of our new original series ICE, cut completely from early dailies, I produced and edited an exciting in-house trailer, leading to our biggest original series premiere ratings ever.
THE DAN PATRICK SHOW/THE RICH EISEN SHOW SUPER BOWL TEASER

To support two of our big sports shows at the Super Bowl in Minneapolis, I wanted to try something new. Combine both shows and sell it as one big winter party. So I rented stages in New York and LA, built a winter shanty and a frozen lake, identical interior sets, and combined both worlds to create one seamless party. And, we had a wolf!

North American Promax Silver Winner- Nonfiction Programming Promotion Trailer
To support our new two-part original documentary The Volunteers, I needed a trailer that truly captured the filmmaker’s journey. River went to Syria and risked his life volunteering as a medic. It was hard to show the carnage, so we had to focus on his story. In addition, the film has a huge emotional impact and we wanted a track that captured that.

An amazing doc series that chronicled the struggle for the U.S. military in Afghanistan, I interviewed Ricky Schroder and his doc team in a military hanger to discuss the challenges of shooting in such a dangerous place.

SEASON ONE CAMPAIGN

For it’s very first time in syndication, I wanted to create a Mad Men campaign that differentiated itself from AMC. The show was always cool, we just needed to remind viewers and reintroduce the award winning period series to a potentially new, younger audience in a fresh, edgy and premium new way.
